Mexico has opened its first university for its senior citizens, offering computer science, law, languages and yoga as some of its subjects. A gradually ageing population who shows keen interest in education, has prompted the country to open this university in Benito Juarez. Built with ramps, elevators and escalators this building that cost the government $1.84 also has a medical office, legal and psychological advice offices, libraries, and covered and open gymnasiums. This university, which is planning to introduce new subjects is a boon to elders, considered as vulnerable and were unable to go to or finish high school for varied reasons.
